Simply Scoop Pooper Scooper Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Simply Scoop will pooper scoop designated area of your property with pet waste removal needs, including front, back, and side yards, flower beds, dog runs, patios, etc.

We scoop your furry friends’ poop using a grid method of searching – north to south and east to west, so we don’t miss any hidden piles. We then apply a complimentary odor eliminator spray to the scoop area. After the pet waste removal and odor elimination application, we double bag the waste, seal it up, and place it in your garbage can. When we exit, we ensure your gate is closed securely and email you a picture of your secured gate for your convenience and peace of mind.

Not at all! For regular, recurring service, you do not need to be home during your pet waste removal visit. As long as we have clear access to your yard, our team can take care of everything. We’ll simply come in, perform our service, and leave your yard sparkling clean. We just ask that any gates leading to the service area are unlocked on your scheduled day.

Please note that for one-time or initial cleanings(first service), we do require someone to be home. This allows us to walk the property with you, discuss any specific areas of concern, meet you and your pets, and ensure we understand your needs perfectly for that initial deep clean.

We are proud to say we sure do! If you are ever dissatisfied with the quality of our poop cleanup service, simply contact us within 24 hours of the clean, and we will re-clean the area at no cost to you.

We simply ask that if your dog has shown signs of aggression or otherwise impedes our ability to service your yard, we will ask that you leave them inside during your cleaning. While we understand the desire to pick a specific day, we operate on an optimized route schedule to ensure efficiency and provide the most reliable service to our clients. This means we assign cleanup days based on your location. We do our best to keep your service day consistent week after week, so you’ll generally know when to expect us. However, there might be rare occasions where we need to adjust the day slightly due to holidays, weather, or route adjustments. We’ll always notify you in advance if your scheduled day needs to change. We’re confident that our consistent, high-quality service will make your yard fresh and clean, no matter which day we visit.

No, we do not provide specific arrival times for our pet waste removal services. We optimize our routes daily to ensure we can efficiently serve all our customers in your area. This allows us to keep our services reliable and affordable. While we can’t give you an exact time, your service will always be completed on your scheduled cleanup day.

At Simply Scoop, we prioritize the safety of our technicians and the effectiveness of our pet waste removal service. Here’s what happens if the weather turns bad:

  • Light Rain: We’ll generally proceed with service in light rain. Our team is equipped to handle these conditions, and a little drizzle won’t stop us from getting the job done.

  • Heavy Rain/Thunderstorms: For heavy rain, lightning, or thunderstorms, we will unfortunately have to postpone service. Attempting to scoop in these conditions is unsafe for our technicians and can also make the service less effective. The rain can make it difficult to locate all waste, and the ground can become too saturated.

  • Extreme Heat: In cases of extreme heat (typically above 100°F), we may need to reschedule your service for earlier in the morning or later in the evening to avoid the hottest parts of the day. This is for the safety of our team.

  • Snow/Ice: If there’s snow cover or icy conditions, we will postpone service. It’s nearly impossible to find and effectively remove waste under snow, and icy conditions pose a significant safety risk.
