Simply Scoop Pooper Scooper Terms of Service

PLEASE READ THESE TERMS OF SERVICE CAREFULLY. By scheduling or using the pet waste removal services provided by SIMPLY SCOOP LLC, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern the use of the pooper scooper services (“Services”) provided by SIMPLY SCOOP LLC (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) to you (“Customer,” “you,” or “your”).

 

1. Scope of Pooper Scooper Services

 

SIMPLY SCOOP LLC will provide pet waste removal services at the address specified by the Customer. Services include the removal of pet waste from designated yard areas and deodorizing designated yard areas. We will double-bag the waste and dispose of it in your provided trash receptacle. If we do not have access to your trash receptacle at the time of service, we will leave it near the gate or designated yard entrance point.

 

2. Customer Responsibilities for Dog Poop Cleanup

 

To ensure the safety of our pooper scooper technicians and the effectiveness of our Services, you agree to the following:

  • Access to Property: Your property must be accessible to our technicians on the scheduled service day. If we are unable to access the service area due to a locked gate or other obstruction, the service will be skipped, and no monetary credit will be due for the missed visit.

  • Aggressive Animals: For the safety of our team, all aggressive or nuisance pets must be secured away from the service area during our visit. We reserve the right to refuse service if a pet impedes our ability to service your property safely, and the full service fee will still apply.

  • Yard Maintenance: The service area must be free of tall grass, excessive leaves, or debris that may obstruct our ability to locate and perform dog poop cleanup. We cannot guarantee the quality of the visit if these obstructions are present.

  • Health and Safety: You are responsible for ensuring your property is free of any known hazards.

 

3. Billing and Payment for Pet Waste Removal

 

  • Service Rates: Our rates for pet waste removal are based on the number of pets, the size of the service area, frequency of service, and the amount of time since the last cleaning.

  • Payment Due Date: Payment for recurring services is due on the day of your first service and monthly thereafter for the upcoming service period. For one-time services, the balance is due upon completion.

  • Late Fees: A late fee of $10.00 may be applied to any post-billed invoice not paid within 7 days of the due date, with an additional $1 per day after the 7th day until payment is made in full.

  • Failed Payments: If payment fails, you will be notified and your service will be paused until payment is successfully made.

 

4. Service Schedule and Cancellation

 

  • Inclement Weather: In the event of severe or inclement weather (e.g., heavy rain, ice), we may reschedule your service for the safety of our technicians. If service is skipped due to weather, we will clean twice the amount of waste on your next regularly scheduled service day, and no credit will be due.

  • Holidays: We observe major holidays. If your service falls on a holiday, we will notify you of an alternate service day.

  • Cancellation Policy: You may cancel or suspend your pooper scooper service at any time by providing at least 48 hours’ notice prior to your next scheduled billing date. Suspensions are accepted only if the pet will be away from the home for an extended period.

 

5. Satisfaction Guarantee

 

We guarantee a spotless yard. If you’re not completely satisfied with our dog poop cleanup service, please notify us within 24 hours, and we’ll return and re-clean the area at no additional charge.

 

6. Limitation of Liability and Disclaimer

 

  • Pet Safety: While we will make every effort to ensure gates are securely closed, SIMPLY SCOOP LLC is not liable for any pets that may escape your property. It is your sole responsibility to ensure your pets are secure.

  • Property Damage: We are not liable for any damage to your property, including landscaping or sprinkler systems, unless resulting from our gross negligence.

  • Health Disclaimer: While our pet waste removal aims to improve sanitation, we do not guarantee the complete elimination of all bacteria or parasites.

 

7. Legal Compliance (Texas Pet Services Law)

 

As a pet service provider in Texas, we adhere to all applicable state and local regulations. By using our Services, you are responsible for complying with any local ordinances regarding pet ownership and registration in Texas, Johnson County, and your city.

 

8. Changes and Governing Law

 

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Your continued use of our Services constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms. These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of Texas.
